Diganta Biswas

Founders

Diganta is a seasoned management consultant with nearly two decades of experience in media and multinationals. A former sports journalist, Diganta is also a certified POSH trainer and a Black Belt in martial arts. He has trained corporates, including women executives, in civilian self defence and crime survival, and government forces in close combat survival. Diganta is also a certified life coach and a fitness enthusiast fond of meditative running. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM), Uttarkashi, and frequently visits the high-altitude trekking routes in the Western Himalayan Region.

Sayantani De

Sayantani is a mature strategic communication professional and former journalist. She is the co-founder of RudderFit Consulting, a communication advisory firm. As a PR professional, Sayantani has actively guided top management and senior corporate leaders on the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of communicating with mainstream and B2B media, and crafted messages and narratives, especially during a crisis or a launch. She now advises corporate leaders on stakeholder communication. She is fond of experiential travel, looking for gastronomic and cultural awareness.

Meghana Kushalappa

Outdoor & Safety Expert

Meghana is an outdoor activity leader and a former instructor at the North West Outward Bound, USA, an adventure school for teenagers, adults and veterans. Having completed her initial training in mountaineering from the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), Darjeeling – the oldest of its kind in the world, Meghana completed the advanced training from the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Mountaineering and Allied Sports (ABVIMAS), Manali. She has led more than 60 groups of adventure seekers on high altitude treks across India. A certified wilderness first responder from the India branch of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), USA, Meghana has reached the summit of Stok Kangri (Ladakh), and completed the summits of Friendship Peak, Renok Peak, and Deo Tibba, among others.

Gautam Thapliyal

Outdoor Specialist

Gautam is a trained mountaineer from the coveted Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM), Uttarkashi. Till date, he has led more than 80 groups of adventure enthusiasts on high altitude Himalayan treks across India. Besides, Gautam summited 6,001m Deo Tibba peak in Himachal Pradesh, a moderately difficult ascent for mountaineers with technical knowledge. He is also a certified wilderness first responder from the India branch of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), USA. He holds a post graduate diploma in Yogic science, and has completed a 200-hour Registered Yoga Trainer course by the Yoga Alliance, USA.

Rini Biswas

Wellness Consultant

Rini is a marketing professional by training and a healthy lifestyle enthusiast by passion. She is mindful to dedicate a part of her day to pursue different forms of sports and fitness activities including High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), spinning, running, and Krav Maga self defence technique. She has assisted in all-women Krav Maga (self-defence) workshops. Besides, she is a certified instructor of Ashtanga Yoga and Mat-Pilates from the Bodhi School of Yoga, Hyderabad. Rini has been guiding corporate participants on a healthy journey through Yoga, Pilates to steer them towards a healthy lifestyle. She is also trained in outdoor survival and leadership from GHAC (Great Hyderabad Adventure Club) and an experienced and passionate trekker who has trekked to explore mountains in the Himalayas, the Sayhadris and the Nilgiri ranges.

Nafisa Hossain

Scientific Assessment Expert

Nafisa is a counselling psychologist and an educator-cum-researcher, with a keen interest in stress management and mental health and wellbeing. After completing an academic research on motivation, depression and loneliness among students during COVID period, she is presently working on assessing and improving the mental health issues in academia. She also advises adolescent boys and girls on career choices, and guides, motivates and counsels them on stress management and mental health. Nafisa draws her experience and perspective from her career in educational institutions and aims to improve the quality of talent for industries in future.

Ian Betts

Ian is a business leader and strategic advisor in Southeast Asia and the broader APAC with more than three decades of experience in the region. He is managing partner at CastleAsia, a political risk consulting firm based in Jakarta, Indonesia and leads its flagship Indonesia Country Program (“ICP”) with a broad membership of corporations, multinational companies and institutions, diplomatic missions and other bodies. Prior to joining CastleAsia, Ian had a global role with G4S in London and was Director for Southeast Asia at Hill & Associates, leading the firm’s operations in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia with a team of analysts across seven countries. He has a bachelor’s degree in the Humanities and a master’s in International Studies and specialises in political risk, Islamic studies, community development, and conflict. Ian is the Honorary Secretary of the British Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia (BritCham) and a Fellow of the Institute of Security Risk Management (F.ISRM).

Dr. Nairwita Bandyopadhyay

Dr. Nairwita is a counselling psychologist and founder of her mental health organisation ‘Mentors’. An alumnus of the prestigious Delhi School of Economics (DSE), she works as an academic counsellor and anti-ragging convenor for various institutions. She is also associated with Resurrection Health Centre, a learning and rehabilitation centre for children with intellectual and Developmental disabilities (IDDs) and substance abusers in West Bengal. Presently, she is working on mental health matters of professionals from various fields, guiding them through counselling and treatment suggestions. Having completed her academic research on anxiety, stress and depression in college students and faculty members, Dr. Nairwita is involved in assessing the mental health of students with prolonged exposure to competitive environments.

Subir Moitra

Subir is an experienced communications professional with over 25 years of experience in corporate communications and crisis communications. He has a strong track record of managing communications for Big4 professional service firms, management consulting, aviation and infrastructure sectors. Subir has also been responsible for setting up councils and operationalising CSR campaigns for KPMG and United Technologies in India, in association with United Ways and Pratt & Whitney.

Sumit Kumar

Sumit is a seasoned human resources professional with experience of working with BFSI majors in India. He headed the eastern zone for Kotak Mahindra, and has devised talent policies for Axis Capital and IIFL, focusing on talent development, productivity management and succession planning. A graduate from Calcutta University, Sumit has also completed an Executive Program on Global Economics from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and keenly follows global practices and international trends. He lives In Kolkata with his museologist wife and their daughter.

Chandan Adhikary

Chandan is a mechanical engineer and an outdoor expert with interests ranging from rock climbing, trekking, rafting, and astronomy, to mention a few. He is a Liaison Officer with the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF), the apex body of mountaineering in the country, and has been an instructor at the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM), Uttarkashi. Chandan is a certified Search & Rescue (S&R) professional and trained in seamanship who has actively pursued coastal trekking, a lesser-known form of adventure activity in India.
